The Porsche 964 is a version of the 911 that was built between 1990 and 1994. Its my favourite 911... and Porsche Period.In 1990 they integrated the body panels to enclosed the bumpers which makes the lines of the car much smoother.
However after 1994, they also shaved off the classic 911 fenders! So, like a nice wine, the "best years IMO were 90-94.... the "964" Body style.
For those not familiar, I will show you the difference..

Not a bad lookin car but see how the bumpers are separate? Now watch what happened in 1990....
bumpers are now "one piece." In fact this body style is so popular, there are "kits you can buy if you have an older 911, to make it look like the 90-94 "C2 or C4" (964 body style .... C2 was 2 wheel drive and C4 was all wheel drive)
About half way through 1994, they changed the body style again. This time they elected to shave the fenders down and renamed the body style "993"....
Some like it but for the purposes of this blog, we're sticking with the 964. Why? Because I like it! ;-D
So What I did was take a pic of a 964 and, with the magic of Photoshop, I created several different looks, ending with, what I feel is the BE all and END ALL!!

Dunno why but I really seem to like blue. This car happens to have a roll cage too which is wheeey kewl! Those are the stock wheels.now for some Photoshop....
The Five Spoke Rims give it that "Hot Rod" look. I did several different versions. Its easier and less expensive to do it digitally first before committing to paint a car, right!? right.
This is a lighter two tone effect...
